This is a service to modify your bellhousing to accept another transmission. Send your bellhousing in and we will prep it to adapt to a racing trans. Your bellhousing will first be cleaned and blasted. Then machined to accept the adapter plate. After they have been welded together, the adapter plate will then be machined again for a precision fit. This ensures proper input shaft and crank alignment.
Select the trans bolt pattern. The Muncie pattern is the most common.
Select the reference hole diameter. This is where the trans will center up. It's either a bearing on the front or the bearing cover diameter.
Select the bellhousing height. You will have to calculate the height of the bellhousing according to the input shaft you have.
After modification, you can either use a Tilton or Quartermaster release bearing assembly.
