Our Valve Guides are precision-machined from high quality Manganese Bronze material.For Exhaust guides for high powered engines that need a better thermal transfer coefficient, Supertech uses a copper alloy. Copper has about 3 times higher thermal transfer than Manganese Bronze

All Supertech valve springs are made with premium Superclean Chrome Silicon Vanadium Steel alloy for higher performance & durability at high rpms. Using high quality steel alloy also provides the added benefit of better structural memory for all of valve springs.Supertech dual valve springs are designed and manufactured to reduce valvetrain harmonics, increase durability, and provide an increase in performance for your high performance racing engine.

This valvetrain kit is for the P11 SR20VE heads (1N5).  If you plan to upgrade your P12 (8H6) head, you much change the valves and valve guides. P12 head cams with 5.5mm valve stems.  We recommend converting to the 6mm valves when going turbo.Basic kit comes with Titanium Retainers and Dual Valve Springs. Choose your upgrades. For all motor applications, we recommend not going higher than 93lb springs.

This valvetrain kit is for the SR20DE/DET heads except the GTi-R. Basic kit comes with Titanium Retainers and Single Springs. Choose your upgrades. If you have hydraulic pivots, we recommend not going higher than 90lb springs. If upgrading your valve size, we recommend going with the 6mm stem exhaust valves. This will require replacing the valve guides.

Our new SR timing chain tensioner significantly improves upon the factory hydraulic timing chain tensioner which can fail when stiffer valve springs are installed. With the stock tensioner, the installation of bigger cams and stiffer valve springs can also cause excessive timing chain wear and can cause the chain to stretch prematurely.
